How trade option destiny

Why did it go bye bye? Easter Time, which means some gamers will be able to play the game before midnight. You can see a list of known details about the game by following this link. Playstation 4 owners that have preordered Destiny 2 are able to preload the game before servers go live. Some servers for the game are already live, but are inaccessible to players with a digital copies. These servers are for reviewers to play the game on. The game is also making some major changes compared to the first one. The release of the game is a world wide one. However, players that got physical copies of the game early are connecting and playing already. The game will come out on Sept.

The Destiny 2 release date comes just after the PC version of the game closed up its beta. This means that the servers for the game will become available at midnight local time for players. Keep these thoughts in mind when reading this column. Remember; all international commerce is good, even when it results in a trade deficit and the apparent destruction of local jobs by more competitive foreign producers. But actually Dr Fox is wrong about this. All youtube videos must first be approved by a moderator before posting. No use of explicit, racist, obscene or vulgar language, images or messages. That would make people selling runs way more common, and they would start charging extra for giving the player loot. The only exotics I have came from the raid and bounties. HAVE TO GET THE GEAR to reach level 30. Dont worry about what other people have.

That is a stupid assumption. But RNG is so much worse, and has actually driven ALL of my IRL friends away from the game and is quickly depleting my clan. My guild is on a pretty populated server, and they have been selling runs of every raid once we had the heroic on farm. Especially during the more popular expansions, such as WotLK and MoP. Plan C has a crazy charge rate. Like this weeks Nightfall Strike, I got Universal Remote, but a buddy got Lord High Fixer. Things like Exotics should obviously not be trade able, nor should any piece of raid armour or raid weapons.

Like I said the armor to me is great. Those are so not difficult to prevent. With certain measures, Bungie can keep things structured and avoid having the system taken advantage of. With trading comes the demand for bots to farm items. Helps both of us really. IMO, nothing ruins a game faster than this. To prevent trading of legendary and exotics, they could implement a soulbound system similar to that of WoW. Exotics would be nice. Maybe even a way to trade them in for resources. Trading needs to be implemented Diablo style.

What I would like is to be able to send one gift to a friend a week. Doing VoG and you got your 2nd VoC? But if you get 5 chatter whites from Atheon drops and no raid gear. Full on trading would ruin this incentive and ruin the game. Happened not a week after release. But I think that would go against what most trade advocates want out of it. With the way the game is currently going with a very shallow level of items you can accrue and with not much value to money as is. These items should only be transferable WITHIN your clan to prevent a cross clan trading system. Implement a rarity for rarity system. They got their first DLC coming out and they got to figure out how to make this game less repetitive and interesting.

They have these things that are supposed to allow for differing play styles and then make them almost impossible to get. It can also work for legendaries. Spirit Blooms, you can exchange it for something you need right away. If we can get those legendaries changing hands it will make exotics what they are supposed to be. We would sell full packages of carrying you thru all the achievements for in game gold, never dealt with money. MINIMAL; this game should have some sort of economy, but I digress. Great loot drops too frequently to allow trading.

When Xur was selling it, my mind was blown and would have paid 50 strange coins for it. On a high note everyone is incorrect on the duplication of items on this game. There should be a set amount of things you can trade. Templar cheesing is resulting in way way way more unearned pieces of loot than any run selling ever would. It seems like a cruel joke because most of the cool drops from me a Warlock items while most of his drops a Titan items. Friday night after buying he SUROS. Allow me to trade it and it lessens the thrill of a good drop and will always make me feel like I am a sucker for not just buying it. Limit the possibilities for people to abuse before adding the system in and I feel it would be a nice addition. WoW during the early days of Cataclysm when the heroic 5mans were still tough for many people. It CAN be done correctly, without breaking the game, there just needs to be major restrictions.

Bungie through my previous statement, in fact, I thoroughly enjoy playing Destiny and oh my word, I would LOVE to be able to trade. And that is what? Maximum of 3 times? Except OP is right. Gear would dramatically go down in value. This is how I feel about Xur. Guns, Armor, Shards, Materials, Ships, Shaders. Raids should have a gear swap session at the end of the mission that lets players in the same fireteam swap gear with each other.

Make a level cap for trading so say only after level 20 can you trade. You can put rare engrams in the vault. But the Hunter will always be my favorite. Super Good Advice ready to go. Had an Icebreaker drop on the nightfall this week and would have loved to be able to give it to my buddy who missed the Xur boat. Need 100 Ascendant Shards for your alt? Otherwise the item is BOA. Now, I have hope that Bungie will push in the right direction. Bungie has made comments like trading could be in the future. Destiny desperately needs trading!

But I also think there are many ways to make trading work well. As long as i can trade those along with materials like strange coins etc. Literally the only thing OP has against trading is the POSSIBILITY of someone finding a duplication glitch. If something drops you can trade it to people in your group at time of drop for up to X hours after the drop. Do you only play games for Xbox Achievements or PS Trophies? No game I ever played was better with trading. Being able to trade with fireteam members items recieved from a strike afterwards should have been available from day one.

To each their own, but I personally would like to not see trading implemented in any shape or form. Our level 28 guy has completed the raid 4 times on his main account, 2 times on his alts, and we have carried him thru hard mode up to gatekeeper on both accounts. My buddy and I were doing a strike one day and this is exactly what we thought would be a good solution. It should not be not difficult to get equipment. If you get and weapon I want and vice versa, we can trade. Just need to worry about weapons. Xur items are bind on pickup and cant be traded, other exotics can. Like i said, raid gear would have to be account bound.

Again, this was all for in game gold, not cash, which honestly I think makes it more accessible to people. We had at least one buyer if not two per week. Preventing dupes is technically possible, drops just need unique IDs. And most everything else can be purchased from the Vanguards or Faction leaders. You have to shoot your opponent 10 times. Chinese farmers trying hack my entire psn account.

And make a cap on how much of certain items can be traded per week. Well then you better cough up one he wants. Want to trade for an exotic? Only one exotic for one. UNLESS they were in your party at the time of the drop, and you have only 2 hours to do so. The order of selection is either random or done based on how well each person performed. For PVE i still prefer sunsinger warlock first followed by defender titan second. Hell, it could even cost 1000 glimmer to send it. This would kill destiny. Vanguard Marks and Crucible marks, not being able to exceed the cap, naturally. Forget worrying about something that may or may not happen.

If so, good for you. Bungie may as well give everyone everything. Strange Suspect for pvp, and my beloved Comedian, Cryptic Dragon, and Purifier VII. Then your alt can decrypt and disassmble. Xur or someone else should allow you to at least trade mats for other mats. But for groups of friends looking to help each other out and give away their 3rd raid helmet, it would work just fine. WoW or many other MMOs have had problems like that. So many people here get nasty because they want to feel unique based on what they have.

Oh hey, look, the nightfall gave me an autoshotty. Hunter but it made things nice when I decided to create the other two classes. So your immediate assumption is trading leads to poor programming? Plus a couple cost a Strange Coin to complete. The mount reward for getting all the achievements was pretty cool and very rare at the time, and it took some serious effort to consistently find buyers. What is the fucking point in that? Pretty sure this would be both a safe and fair way to handle the issue. They could simply do it the way Diablo 3 does it now, which only allows players to give items to other players who are in the team at the time of the item drop, and only for a couple of hours.

You get different exotics then your friends and that helps shapes your personal Destiny adventure. PVP will be ruined. You complain about RNG and drops not being good, imagine playing any other MMO that has x3 the loot tables and barely drops the exact piece you need. Early in the game, I had always wanted the Ice Breaker. That 1 to 20 grind was terrible! Only let those in your Fireteam at the time of the drop be able to trade that item for a limited time. Currently we have 4 30s, 1 29 and 1 28. Personally, exotic weapons hold no value to me. What if you were only able to trade with a friend or clan mate of one week or more?

Maybe you should spend more money on design rather than paying people to downvote common sense. And then I got drops which contained 2 items, a helmet and boots, both legendary Vanguard items for the Warlock. This way no on can profit anything, just get a different flavor. If their DLC is only a few more strikes and bosses that are the equivalent to bullet sponges. Conversely we have people at 30 with multiples of each armor piece who have put in less commitment to the raid. Bungie has not made any official statement declaring their intention to change this at all. You can only trade items that are in the same class, so no whites for rares, or legendaries for exotics. Only items obtained during the raid are tradeable.

After Each section of the raid, bring up a screen that allows a team to choose from a list of items. Who cares if trading means exotics are proliferated faster, or whatever. Sadly I was wrong and am personally guilty of allowing my own raid groups and participating in cheesing myself. Exotic in the game which would just suck ass. Then make it so trading is done through the post master. My destiny account IS my psn account. See I think trading could be a viable thing, but only of done the right way. When I first started I kind of wished there was a trading option.

People must have been there when the boss died. That way there is still a sense of achievement for having something since you earned it instead of everyone having a mythoclast without touching the raid. Trading in borderlands 2 ruined the game for me. Borderlands, Diablo 3, all of todays most popular looter games have trading. Only allow trades when the total value of each side of the trade are equal. You dont need items to seperate yourself from the crowd. Whats the currency here?

PVP but i do better with warlock personally. One item to one person on my friends list once a week. Hopefully Bungie works it out right. It happened before and it will happen again. Maybe that Hunter chest piece is more valuable to that kid who has the shader I want. Truth away, I should at least get some more mats and a telemetry from it, maybe even some marks. This would never happen in destiny, first off the game cant be botted since it is on console.

Perhaps make it so you can only trade an exotic of your class if you have duplicates. Or even make it so the people have to have been on your friends list for x amount of time before you can trade with them. And to be completely honest, the thought of getting constant trade requests for stuff like my Last Word makes me shudder. People with bought gear will almost always under perform when compared to the people that sold them the gear. Epilogue, or even trading for my own benefit. Make it equal trading so only exotic for exotic, so on and so forth. But that was mostly for dope ass potions. Only because as a Hunter, I had gotten an exotic chest piece for a Warlock along with a legendary helmet and boots for a Warlock. But buying them from xur because you had enough strange coins which are honestly very not difficult to obtain.

If you give the engrams to your alt via the bank and have your alt decrypt them, they can be dismantled into their class specific materials. But the weapons are my pet peeve. Again, the material charged for trading is rare, so only people who have been playing for a long time will be able to trade. Everyone else who has skills but not the time to wait for RNGesus to finally reward your time and effort with a weapon rather than a crappy shader; then finally find time to acquire all the materials necessary to level up your weapon to something more useful than a blue, too bad. However, that should not be based on items. Xur or if RNGesus is on your side. Fuck literally everything about that idea. Destiny even has the perfect currency to trade with in game, strange coins and motes of light. Although I agree with the first part of your comment Tae, I have to respectfully disagree with the second part of it. Legendaries is really all i wanna trade.

Honestly if this did exist I would be the one doing trades like 5 Ascendent Energy for 50 relic iron since I have energy for days but never enough iron. Get used to this or leave. There needs to be a way to get materials other than boringly walking around planets. As someone who does enterprise databases for a living, I love looking into this kind of stuff. On top of what is being said what the hell are you going to trade? Thorn, Bad JuJu and Invective bounties show up about 12 times.

But then I realized I have friends. If you limit how abusable the system is it can work wonders. Without Xur I think most people would have quit the game by now. Bungie would not fail to implement secure ways to stop cheesing. They should make it like diablo 3 trading. At the time, my reward was something I already had but he wanted and his was something I needed. It will really only help players who have been fucked by RNG. You can trade loot with anyone who was in your fireteam at the time of the loot drop, but for only 2 hours after the loot drop. And same with Phantasy Star Online, once I actually started playing online I started getting every rare weapon in the game and completely maxed out my meseta on every character.

There could be room for trading, and I think the people with ideas for regulating it are on the right track. You give someone an item, and they have to give something to you as well. We can not have trading in Destiny. Instead of wishing for the trade option, I did the logical thing. The only way to reach 30 is raid armor and the eventual Iron Banner armor. GM and Officers were selling some for cash.

Titan and my friend is a Warlock. Or, I am totally for having it be a vendor at the tower, and for 2 people to trade, the items have to be the same category, and both people need to be in the same clan or something. To get really good gear, you would have to start farming glimmer, which would take away the fun of being able to just play the game. If you want evidence to back up your clan look at the Borderlands: The Pre Sequel boards on GameFaqs or any other gaming site. If they blocked off exotics from trade that could not difficult work. Trading would ruin the game. Well done Bungie employees, clearly the loot system has no flaws. You can also add that the fireteam member should be from your clan. Bungie has already stated that they intend to bring the next iteration of Iron Banner more in line with how people expected it to be, Whether or not that actually happens remains to be seen.

Even in Destiny it is. It would obviously have to be limited and exotics and raid gear is a good place to start. Lv20 to Lv25 instantly. Bungie uses two different IDs for items. It would be perfectly natural in a Fireteam to trade your drops right then and there. Hand Cannons and hate shotguns in this game. If a dupe glitch was found, it would have to somehow change that unique ID or else detection would be trivial. You want an exotic your friend has? You could even restrict how often you can trade. The only way it could work is if they expanded the type of items you can get and make the library of items way larger.

There could be no trading for money, or materials. Assign every piece of equipment and all materials a value based on their rarity. He has only ever gotten 1 chest armor and 1 VoC to drop from those runs. Warlock because 2 weeks ago I got one of those engrams from Xur and it turned out to be an exotic chest item for a Warlock. Trading can be safely implemented in certain areas and conditions. Destiny with daily since day 1 is still looking for Patience and Time and I find a second one while we are playing together, I could hand it over. In some ways i want to be able to trade just to get rid of my exotic armor i got for other classes but then again i can just break it down for shards.

Under no circumstances should anyone be able to trade weapons and armor to other players. Maybe three per day, for the people who sit in a recliner and play in their sleep? Make it so you can only trade things of equal worth, for example an exotic warlock head piece for an exotic titan head piece. Everyone is going on about exotics losing their value, but right now they are easier to come by than legendaries. Tradind SHOULD be implemented into this game but only in the way that WoW does it. You could look at it from a few different point of views. Bungie has a lot bigger things on their plate then adding a trading system.

Honestly, I just want something to do with my glimmer. Bungie should implement a very limited trade feature and do a much more thorough bug test before letting it go live and potentially decreasing the rarity of items. What if trading was limited to only exotic items. That being said, I am a big fan of Diablo 3s current loot sharing system. Filled with topics asking for duplicated items. If the material charged for trading is rare enough, trading will be rare and therefore impossible to abuse.

To trade with someone, it really has to be an exchange. You should be able to trade things like materials, maybe shaders, and other things that you grind for. The Hunter is my favorite. PUG and go back to orbit and keep your loot no problem. All I have to do is buy some gauntlets and that character will be outfitted pretty well. It means dick to have 1 glimmer or if you had 1 million Glimmer. That is what WoW does with their loot. Luckily the Iron Banner will allow you to get 30 light gear next time around. Why does everybody assume you will be able to trade everything?

There is a simple fix for that whole thing. ID for that specific instance of that item. That is a great way to send people to another game and kill this one. Pocket Infinity, Bad juju, Invective and a couple others. Trading would allow faster growth and better replay. Obviously RNG is RNG and I understand that, but if we were able to funnel him some of our extra drops it would make all of our lives that much easier. For a game about loot, I am motivated to play in order to get the loot. Vault, instant level 28, then run nightfall and hard mode raid, and then put it all back into the Vault before deleting that character and doing it all over again.

Stop decrypting engrams with your primary and transfer them over to your alt. Everyone would end up wearing the exact same armour, using the exact same weapons. Plan Cs charge rate only works when you switch it from your primary, meaning the charge rate it there to let you walk around with another gun then switch exactly when you need it. Maybe make it so a legendary can only be traded for another legendary. Man, now that would be great. Iron banner is returning? The trading should be same as Diablo 3 RoS: You can trade only with people in your fireteam at the moment of the drop for 30min. That just seems wrong to me. Needless to say these guys are always on, and eclipse my 300 or so hours in the game.

Games like WoW have dealt with this and all the other issues. If they were good enough to acquire it legitimately they would have done so themselves without buying it. The Truth for a PvP build, but I could just as not difficult us my Zombie Apocolypse. If there was trading in Destiny then I would have a Mythoclast right about now, along with the raid gauntlets. If the game is getting old and boring for you and trading for a new cool weapon makes it worthwhile again, good for you, cheers. Well I have full raid gear I will trade you all my Shards for 1 Glimmer my good friend. You should only be able to trade same tier items. Very few stand out as tier 1 weapons. That being said this game needs an economy.

Who cares if everybody has every gun? Ive grinded almost 300 hours for a weapon ive never seen drop. Very often we actually believe that Bungie is listening on us and takes a joke because that seriously happens almost all the time. There could be a NPC that exchanges 3 Spinmetal for 1 Helium Filaments, for example, and the ratio could change daily and everyday you would have a more valuable material, or something like that. Strikes, but not raids. Everyone would have everything in a matter of weeks and people would only use the most op equipment. But I agree with the sentiment. Limit on quantity: Would a limit of one item per day be unreasonable? Honestly, I would like to see a list of all the gear available after boss fights and at the end of missions, and then allow people to bid on it instead of just randomly handing it out.

Any sort of chat they put in, voice or otherwise, would be constantly spammed with people trying to trade. They just stand or walk around all day and never say a word. If you want someone to give you an exotic, you have to give them an exotic. Sounds like pure arrogance to me and that sort of attitude is everything wrong with the real world today. And the end game is fine on this game as I see it. You can run the raid as many times as you want on the same character.
